Rob Zombie and ‘American Psycho’ Writer Working on TV Series About Manson Family Murders

Fuck yeah, this seems like it’s going to be an awesome show!

Rob Zombie has confirmed joining forces with “American Psycho” writer Bret Easton Ellis for a TV series project revisiting the notorious Manson Family murder spree.

As Variety reports, the project is currently in the “very early stages of development” and is planned to be released as a limited series for Fox.

The gruesome killings still shock the world to this very day, leaving a vile trace of seven victims, including actress Sharon Tate, who was eight and a half months pregnant with Roman Polanski‘s child at the time.

Although he never killed anyone himself, Manson was convicted of first-degree murder, resulting in a deah sentence in 1971. The death penalty was abolished the following year, forcing a sentence switch to life behind bars. Charles Manson was denied parole 12 times since.

Zombie revealed his fascination with the Manson Family affair on numerous occasions. As for the project, the series is intended to tell the story from several different aspects. More info should drop soon, stay tuned.
